13-15 April (Songkran, Thai New Year 2010)
Sharing you a few shots I had from our travel to
Koh Sichang. A quiet cove located at the gulf of Thailand, province of Chonburi. This place is less popular to tourist, making it at the top of my list for a weekend wandering.
It was an hour and a half travel via Bangkok-Chonburi motorway going to Siracha Pier. A ferry ride costs about 40 baht per person which leaves every hour from Siracha to Thaa Laang pier. Around the island I found an assortment of beautiful resorts such as
Malee Blue,
Paree Hut and the less costly Rim Talay. I enjoyed bathing at the clear waters of Ao Asdang (Atsadang Beach) and explored the whole island by renting a motorcycle for 300 Baht a day.
Watch out for the beautiful landmarks on my next post "
The Road Less Traveled 2". Till then.
